I have worked as a Speech and Language Therapist for 10 years and have always specialised in working with children with an autism spectrum condition. I have experience working in clinics, primary and secondary schools, both in the NHS and privately.
For the past 6 years I have worked in a multidisciplinary team, providing diagnostic assessments for children with autism from the ages of 2- 18 years. I have developed a special interest in supporting children with emotional regulation difficulties, helping them to understand and communicate their emotions to others. I have also started training as a psychotherapist and this has helped me to better understand and support the families I work with.
I am registered with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT), the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as well as The Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice (ASLTIP).
