Help for Psychology previously had a contract with NHS Norfolk and Waveney ICB, which expired on 31/03/2024. We have been invited to apply for another contract, which will enable us to begin taking referrals via the Right to Choose route. We are currently undertaking the application process for this contract.
Unfortunately, until any contract is formalised, we are unable to take any further referrals. Any referral(s) we received (whilst we had an NHS contract in place) is currently placed ‘on hold’. If (and when) a new contract is in place, all these families will be contacted and will be seen as soon as possible.
Once these families have received their assessment, we will begin accepting new referrals. Details of this will be published on our website
We are conscious of how important the prospect of an assessment is to those who may have waited a long time for one. Therefore, as we are unable to confirm any timescales or future relationship with the NHS at present, we felt it fair to make you aware of the current situation.
Please feel free to contact alternative providers of Right to Choose, a current list can be provided to you by contacting [email protected].
Please check our website regularly for any changes. We respectfully request that you not telephone our clinic to check for updates.
For more information on Right to Choose via the NHS, see the NHS’ own website here.
Please note:
This contract will only apply to referrals from GPs in the Norfolk and Waveney area.
Our support team will not be able to facilitate any discussions surrounding Right to Choose until further notice
