This is a DBT-informed group that will consist of 10 weekly sessions that will cover topics such as Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotional Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. Each session will be approximately 1 hour long.
This group is designed to help adolescents (aged 14-17) with an autism diagnosis and difficulty with emotion regulation. It aims to teach young people effective coping strategies, reduce self sabotaging behaviours, and reach their goals during these difficult times.
