Role:
Adult ADHD and ASD Specialist NurseClinic Location:
NorwichAs a non-medical nurse prescriber, I specialise in medication initiation, titration and optimisation, ensuring safe prescribing practices. In my role as ADHD Clinical Lead Nurse, I’ve supported the development of prescribing services and provided supervision and guidance to clinicians, helping to shape ADHD treatment pathways and improve patient outcomes.
Throughout my career, I have been passionate about delivering evidence-based practice and have developed neurodevelopmental pathways in line with national guidelines. I have extensive experience in risk management, safeguarding and suicide mitigation. I’m trained in self-harm prevention and crisis intervention.
I’ve also served as a Specialist Advisor for the Care Quality Commission (CQC), helping to ensure that hospital and community services comply with regulatory standards, and I’ve worked across geographical and organisational boundaries to enhance service delivery. My career has involved a collaborative approach, collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, speech and language therapists, social care, education and youth justice teams to ensure the best outcomes for the individuals I support.
I’m committed to continuous professional development and have completed further training in autism and ADHD diagnostics and assessment, as well as non-medical prescribing.
