Clinical Experience
Rachel Russell is a chartered clinical psychologist, registered with the HCPC and the British Psychological Society (BPS), having qualified from the University of East Anglia (UEA) in 2021. With experience working across the lifespan, she currently focuses on supporting children, young people, and their families. She holds positions within the NHS and as a clinical lecturer at the UEA, alongside her independent practice.
Rachel is passionate about helping children and young people, as well as those supporting them, to understand their unique patterns of strengths and needs. Her work includes contributing to autism and ADHD assessments for children and young people, drawing on her previous experience in an NHS neurodevelopmental assessment service. She is trained in both the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS 2) and the Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R). Additionally, Rachel has research interests in neurodevelopmental differences, co-production, and the sustainability of the NHS clinical psychology workforce, and she supervises research in these areas in her role as a clinical lecturer.
