Miriam Dutton is a Higher Assistant Psychologist and Neurodevelopmental Specialist with a First Class degree BA (Hons) in Education Studies and Early Years and Distinction in MSc Psychology. She has worked with children in schools supporting a variety of educational needs for a number of years. Since joining Help for Psychology, Miriam has trained to carry out cognitive assessments and interpret the results from other psychometric assessments.
She has also carried out consultations and delivered Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to neurodiverse children under supervision.
Miriam has contributed to multidisciplinary neurodevelopmental private and NHS assessments, working with Autistic young people, including those with PDA as well as individuals with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. More recently she has trained to deliver and interpret the Autism Diagnostic Interview- Revised (ADI-R).
