I qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2018 at University College London (UCL). Since then, I have worked in both private practice and in the NHS, in many London Boroughs as well as in Cambridgeshire.
I specialise in working with children. I have worked in mainstream and specialist settings, as well as clinics and other agencies (Youth Justice Service) supporting children aged 2-17. I have experience of working with young people with significant trauma and care-experienced young people; I am trained in trauma-informed approaches. I also have specific interests in working with secondary-age children and in supporting those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, particularly Situational Mutism.
I specialise in supporting children and young people with complex needs (mainly ASD). I have been taking part in multi-disciplinary neurodevelopmental clinic assessments since August 2023. I am trained to administer the ADOS-2 assessment and have substantial experience of administering all of the ADOS-2 modules. This has allowed me to also work with adults, which I really enjoy.
Being a part of someone’s neurodevelopmental assessment is something I feel very privileged to be able to do.
