My experience before clinical psychology training included supporting college students with special education needs, carrying out autism assessments, and providing individual and group therapy for adults living with persistent pain. I have experience delivering CBT, DBT and ACT, focusing on supporting people to live a full and meaningful life, regardless of diagnosis. I believe that individuals should not be limited by their diagnosis and work therapeutically with them to overcome challenges and enhance their belief in themselves.
In addition to my clinical work, I have carried out research considering NHS staff’s experiences with and perceptions of those living with diagnoses that carry stigma. My research aimed to understand the impact the clinician can have on therapeutic outcomes and to inform ways of working.
I am trained to deliver the ADOS-2 and ADHD Child Evaluation.
