Dr Laura Alcock

I am a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health Care and Professions Council (HCPC), with over 18 years of experience in the field of mental health.

Throughout my career, I have worked primarily within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in the NHS. In my private practice, I support children, adolescents, and adults facing a variety of mental health challenges.

While I have particular expertise in the assessment and diagnosis of ADHD and autism spectrum conditions across all age groups, I also work therapeutically with a wide range of difficulties, including:

• Challenging behaviour and emotional regulation

• Depression, anxiety, and panic

• Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

• Bipolar disorder

• Trauma and attachment issues

• Learning disabilities and self-esteem
