Occupational Therapist at Help for Psychology
Clinical Experience
I am an HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with over 13 years of post-qualifying experience, specialising in neurodevelopmental assessment and support for children, young people, and adults. I hold an MSc (with Distinction) in Occupational Therapy from the University of East Anglia and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Nottingham.
Throughout my career I have worked across specialist NHS and private settings, including a national tertiary neurodevelopmental service at the Evelina Children’s Hospital, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, where I developed a high level of skill in supporting children and young people with complex neurodevelopmental presentations. I am trained in the ADOS-2, ADI-R, ACIA, and MIGDAS-2 autism assessment tools, and I take a neuro-affirming, person-centred approach in everything I do.
Alongside my neurodevelopmental work, I have a specialist interest in feeding differences in children and young people, including ARFID, having worked within a dedicated complex feeding clinic where I worked within a multidisciplinary team to deliver assessment and intervention using the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) approach. I am also a qualified Transformative Coach, and I bring a coaching mindset to my practice.
I take time to ensure that every young person and their family feels informed and comfortable throughout the assessment process, and I am committed to providing thorough, high-quality care at every stage.
I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists.
