Speech and Language Therapist at Help for Psychology
Clinical Experience
Since moving into independent practice, I have expanded my clinical experience to include work with children, young people, and adults with a range of communication needs. I have developed particular expertise in social communication assessment and supporting individuals with autism and learning disabilities. I am trained and experienced in administering the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) as part of a multidisciplinary diagnostic pathway for children and young people.
I work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and schools/colleges to ensure assessments are thorough, evidence-based, and sensitive to each individual’s needs. In addition to diagnostic work, I continue to provide speech and language assessment and therapy for adults and children, as well as training and support for parents, carers, and professionals. I am committed to ongoing professional development and to delivering a high-quality, person-centred service that supports accurate understanding and meaningful outcomes for every individual.
