
My Background
Rachael is a HCPC registered Educational Psychologist. She completed the Doctorate at Sheffield University in 2020 and has worked within local authority educational psychology services in the Northwest since this time. Rachael moved to Norfolk in 2024 and has been working within different contexts to support in developing an understanding of the strengths and needs of children and young people within education systems.
As an EP, Rachael has supported in providing psychological, assessment, intervention, consultation, research and training for schools and services within local authorities. She has worked with both mainstream and specialist settings developing her special interest in supporting autistic pupils. Rachael has also contributed to multi-disciplinary assessments of children and young people working with NHS professionals including paediatricians, clinical psychologists and speech and language therapists. Rachael is trained in the use of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule – Second Edition (ADOS-2) and an accredited Video Interaction Guidance (VIG) practitioner.
