Claire Loynd
Since qualifying, I have mainly worked as a local authority psychologist, providing psychological assessment, intervention, consultation and research for children and families, schools and the wider local authority. More recently, I have worked as lecturer on the psychology degree programme for the University of Highlands and Islands alongside my own private practice. I now work predominantly in the area of autism and ADHD with both children and adults. I am trained in the use of Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule – Second Edition (ADOS-2), Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised (ADI-R) and the Diagnostic Interview for Social and Communication Disorders (DISCO). I feel very fortunate to have a job that I love. I enjoy getting to know my clients and applying my psychological skills and knowledge to support them.
