I have worked in the education and social care field for a considerable time, enjoying several roles in mainstream, specialist, and independent schools; including headteacher in specialist settings and executive leadership member of a multi academy trust for special educational provision. Settings ranged from early years to adults and afforded me the privilege of supporting individuals academically, vocationally and therapeutically. I am passionate about holistic learning and progress. Alongside joining the team of excellent colleagues at Help for Psychology, I am currently studying for an MSc in Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing and have been applying my own learning and research interests to support others offering standard therapy under supervision.
Qualifications: BSc in Psychology, PGCE in Education, MSc in Neuroscience Foundations for Sensory Integration, MSc (pending completion) in Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing.
Additional Training & Experience: Education Leadership, Mental Health First Aid, Deaf-Blind House Tutor, Social Work for Challenging Behaviour, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy based approaches, Autism and PDA.
