I am a Chartered Psychologist and Systemic Practitioner. I am also trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (‘HCPC’) and the British Psychological Society (‘BPS’).
I have many years’ experience working with children and adults on the autism spectrum both within the NHS as well as in private organisations. I have also worked in Community Mental Health services in the NHS and in Singapore.
I am trained to administer, score and interpret the findings of both the ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule) and the DISCO (Diagnostic Interview for Social and Communication Disorders).
I currently work part time in a Community Learning Disability Team in Cambridgeshire and am also employed as a Consultant Psychologist for the National Autistic Society (NAS) at The Lorna Wing Centre. I have my own private practise where I offer CBT and CFT for people with mental health difficulties. I provide training, clinical supervision and consultation regarding ASD and Mental Health across a range of settings.
My special interests include women and girls with ASD and low arousal approaches and strategies for people with ASD and their carer’s and families.
